LASC Research Fellowship: Transforming Urban Alleys [closed]

The LASC has released a new research fellowship opportunity for a qualified undergraduate or graduate student(s) to research and report on opportunities and strategies for re-purposing urban alleys as a tool for reinvigorating the commercial and residential districts surrounding them  (such as EaCa). [No further applications are being accepted for this fellowship]

This ground-breaking report and case study of the East Cahuenga Alley project will serve as a resource for other business improvement districts, community members, non-for-profit organizations, public officials, and private developers to learn about the costs, benefits, challenges, and opportunities associated with transformative alley projects like EaCa.
